Tamara Minarchi

Tamara Minarchi is an emerging artist who lives and paints in the beautiful town of Leesburg, Virginia.  Tamara is a self taught artist pursuing a life long dream and passion for art and the creative process. Art in various forms has always played an integral part in her life, serving as both a means of self expression and self exploration throughout the years.  Tamara specializes in landscape works executed in various mediums.  While she enjoys working in acrylics and mixed media, her primary love is oil and she considers working in oils to be “absolute magic.” 

Surrounded by the abundant beauty of the Virginia countryside,  Tamara’s art inspiration is tied directly to the land.  She enjoys the natural places of Virginia in all its glorious variety, and you will often find her out exploring the back country roads or working in her garden and collecting inspiration with her two dogs by her side. Her style is ever evolving, but the core of her work always exudes a moody, ephemeral feeling. Softened lines and a peaceful, natural palette of earth tones, olive greens, creams and hazy blue green convey a sense of peace and calm in her art and solidly connects it back to her love of nature.  Her hope is that her work provides a peaceful space for people’s minds to find rest. Tamara’s work has been shown at The Artists in Middleburg Gallery, Art at the Mill Spring and Fall 2024, The DC Arts Center, The Waterford Fair and Federal and Black in Middleburg.
