Sue Kelleher

Sue Kelleher resides in the beautiful Waterford, VA. She has been oil painting since the age of 13 and has dedicated over 30 years of her life to teaching others. Sue’s style is Romantic Renaissance Realist, and she loves painting beautiful landscapes, portraits and hunt scenes. Sue is well known in the Piedmont area for her fox hunting paintings that hang in the Salamander Resort in Middleburg, VA. She also has several hounds hanging in both Morven Park and the National Sporting Library & Museum in Middleburg, VA. Sue has painted all her life but at age 27, she had a brain injury which left her partially paralyzed on her left side. She was born left handed so through great dermination, she was able to switch to painting right handed. “Painting involves tremendous patience, humility and perseverance!”
