Stuart Allison Hindle
Vienna, VA
Stuart Allison Hindle has been painting since she was 12. After receiving a B.F.A. in graphic design from RISD, she worked designing for television cable networks and TV stations around the U.S. before she moved to Prague, CZ and started painting again. Stuart paints landcapes in oils using small strokes influenced by the French and American impressionists. She exaggerates color, manipulates light and applies texture to create a mood for each painting inviting the viewer to share the experience. She has since traveled around the globe collecting images of landscapes for inspiration. Her work has been juried in many local shows in and around Northern Virginia including the prestigious Art at the Mill show in Millwood VA on a regular basis. Her work can be found in private collections throughout Europe and the United States. She now lives in Northern Virginia and has an open studio in Falls Church with the Studios at 307.
