Renee Austin [Née] is an acrylic painter based in Loudoun County, VA. She has a passion for bright and vivid colors, and loves using layers and layers of washes and textures to bring a touch of whimsy and freshness to her work. Her hope is to elicit a happy and delightful smile from the viewer. Every piece is an adventure, and she knows a painting is complete when she feels a burst of joy at those final brushstrokes. Renee loves painting to all genres of music, soaking in the sights and sounds of nature, and the rush of windy and stormy days. She is inspired to paint at all hours of the day and night.
