Nadya Gordon

Nadya Gordon is an award-winning acrylic artist. She works from her home studio in Northern Virginia. Nadya started painting over 20 years ago in oil, took a break for a few years and then took up painting again but in acrylic.

Nadya loves spending time outdoors, Virginia offers beautiful scenery year round. For her the ideal painting makes you feel like you could "be" there - she loves painting landscapes for that reason.

Nadya's style is semi realism - she creates beautiful art by using multiple references, moving, adding or subtracting certain elements to enhance the subject and create an idyllic scene that the viewer can emotionally connect with. Bringing magic to the world while having creative flexibility is what makes painting so enjoyable for Nadya.
