Susan Gring

Susan Gring has always gravitated to art exhibitions and museums believing that the creation of beautiful art is in the spiritual realm and integral in embracing the beauty of this world and the cultures of its people. Trained as a nurse, and later working as a hospital administrator and foundation director, left little time to pursue formal art education until later in life. Susan enrolled in art classes focusing on acrylic art and found not only challenge but a newfound joy and inspiration in the art community.

More, what once seemed like a keen appreciation for the colors and shapes within nature, painting sharpened an acuity in the colors of light on the

trees, the sky, and the water as well as awe at the flickering shadows and clouds floating across the sky. This perhaps explains why Susan is drawn to

landscape painting and why she finds infinite joy in painting, in creating, in living!
